NOMINATIONS BEING ACCEPTED FOR LASACT OFFICES

The LASACT Nominating Committee Chairperson has sent out a call for nominations for LASACT officers for 2006-2007. Officers will be elected at the annual business meeting at the 2006 Conference in July.


The following LASACT offices are open:
LASACT President -- Penny Henderson, current President-Elect will be ratified as President
President-Elect                          Treasurer                         Secretary

The following CEB offices are open:
Chairman                                                 Vice-Chair                              Secretary-Treasurer

All CEB District Representatives
Election of the CEB Representatives should occur at the District level, with each District bringing to the Conference the name of its Representative for ratification.

Any vacant seats for LASACT Representatives also need to be filled so that each district is represented at the Board meetings. In a district where there is not an active SACO, names may be submitted by individuals

Nominations for any of the above mentioned offices, the Counselor of the Year, Prevention Specialist of the Year, Counselor-in Training of the Year, Prevention Counselor In Training of the Year, and Gambling Counselor of the Year (Counselor/Prevention Specialist/CIT/PSIT/Gambling Counselor of the Year Awards) may be sent to the LASACT office or to any member of the Nominating Committee, who are as follows:
