(LACT) Enroll Now!

Next quarter of study begins October 10, 2008
with "The Counseling Process" Class
Applications are now being accepted.
Classes held 2nd weekend of each month
1 to 9 p.m. on Fridays AND
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays
15 hours per weekend; 45 hours per quarter

Mandatory New Student Orientation
at 11 a.m. on first Friday of quarter
 
Special Notice: September 12 and 13 classes were re-scheduled
because of Hurricane Gustav. These classes will be made up on

Home Study Course on "Co-Occurring Disorders"

Assessment and treatment of Co-occurring Disorders is the trend of the future
 in the addictions counseling field.
LASACT offers a home study course on that topic for 12 hours of continuing education credit towards recertification.

CERTIFIED CLINICAL SUPERVISOR CLASS

Supervision Class is now available online at www.dlcas.com
Receipt for registration for online class MUST BE
e-mailed, faxed, or mailed to LASACT
in order to obtain supervision waiver from ADRA.

LASACT will continue to hold a classroom style class
when enough people are registered to warrant one.

Tentatively next class is Fall, 2008
Class Registration Form.

LASACT will refund payment to those who want to switch
 from the classroom style class to the online course.

Fax or mail it with Full Registration Fee to the LASACT office.

Hogan, Kristen Reed Gabrielsen, Nora Luna, and Denise Grothaus is recommended reading for those interested in becoming certified as Prevention Specialists.
